2025 Trauma Survivor Webinar Series: Pelvic Floor Issues



In presentation #1 (of 2) we will learn about pelvic floor issues to include: 1) how trauma can contribute to pelvic dysfunction; 2) common issues associated with pelvic dysfunction to include chronic pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and more and 3) pelvic floor physical therapy as a component of a multidisciplinary team approach to treating pelvic floor dysfunction. Our speaker is Carly Nagel, PT, DPT, CLT, an experienced and dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy.

More about the speaker

 

Carly Nagel, PT, DPT, CLT is an experienced and dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy with expertise in polytrauma rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and pelvic floor therapy. She has a BS in biological sciences from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado. She has been a physical therapist at the Naval Medical Center San Diego since 2012 where she is a certified lymphedema therapist and has pursued specialized training in pelvic floor physical therapy. Outside of physical therapy she enjoys camping, reading, and being a mom to her two young children.
